News News News

Hi everyone! I'm okay to those you are wondering...I haven't blogged for two weeks...folks I'm sooo lazy. Anyway here's what's been happening around here.

Yesterday we celebrated hubby's birthday. It was jut us and the rest of the family (his mom, sister and nephews). Due to the weather we didn't push through with our original plan to go to Marina Bay...why does it always have to rain every single afternoon!

Pregnancy news, I'm almost four months pregnant now! I feel a bit better. I only threw up once this week so thats a huge improvement. I still feel lazy though, I always ask my husband why all I do is sleep whenever I'm at home. I do a little this and that but most of the time I'm just in bed. Even at the office I feel ever so sleepy.

Still on baby news, there's a sale on OG (until tomorrow for those who might want to shop) so I bought some baby clothes. I know I know still too early to shop...buy hey I'm wearing old clothes and haven't bought a single pair of shoes for about three months now (and if you know me that's saying something) so I need a little retail theraphy...eventhough its not really for me.

More baby news, its my monthly checkup on Thursday...and we "might" know the gender of the baby. We're really excited, I told hubby he couldn't miss this checkup. Hope we could get nice photos for the scrapbook I'm making.

Happy Easter...and layouts done

Happy Easter everyone!!!!

Everyone in this household is at Sentosa right now while I'm here in front of my laptop typing this entry :) Well my husband said it won't be a good idea for me to come since it would be crowded there and I need to do a great deal of walking around...so I was left here. I'm not complaining though...here's all the layouts I posted over this weekend...

Sightseeing

DH and the rest of the family (excluding me) went to Botanical Gardens today. Since mommy's sister who lives in Seattle came to visit us they have taken her to popular tourist spots.
Here's some of the pics he took using our H1.

What's happening?

So I haven't blogged lately...
My mom in law and nephews arrived last Tuesday. They will be spending summer vacation over here. Its nice to have kids around, at least its not too quiet with them running around the house. The first thing mommy asked me when I talked to her was, "Kamusta na ang apo ko?" and I could only laugh. Though she has five grand children now, the youngest being just a month old...I'm happy to know that she's as excited as we are. I showed her the baby's latest ultrasound and told her that this photo took a while to take because the little fellow was moving around...a lot. We're all wondering now whether we will have a boy or a girl. My next doctor's appointment is in two weeks time (I'll me 16 weeks or four months pregnant by then), there's a chance that we might find out the gender of the baby. Of course I'm excited...I want to start buying small stuff for the baby already. I know its kinda early but can you blame me for being this excited?
I'm still throwing up until now (will this ever end?) but I find a little bit of energy in me to do something else besides lying straight to bed at night. My back is killing me, my OB says but still its uncomfortable and sometimes really painful. I could only imagine the feeling when my tummy gets bigger. Speaking of bigger, some friends saw me yesterday (Hi Jaimie, Bang and Mindy). They all said I look pregnant already...lol. Well actually yeah I think I look pregnant now. But I'm at this awkward stage of pregnancy where most of my normal clothes won't fit anymore but my maternity clothes are still too loose to be worn. So I don't have much fashion sense at the moment...I just wear whatever is in my closet that can still fit me....and that doesn't include my XS blouses and my size 24 pants...yeah I'm fat...no...I'm pregnant...lol.

I'm still alive

I've been feeling terrible lately. It takes most of my energy to drag myself to work and when I get home I'm too tired to do anything else but lie in bed. To my CTs, I'm a bit behind with my layout assignments...I promise to make up for it once I feel a bit better.

I had to go see my OB a bit earlier that my scheduled appointment. I feel bloated and I threw up twice today. My back hurts a lot. Its official, I'm giving birth at Raffles Hospital. I signed up for their antenatal package. It covers all my checkup, routine ultrasound (a separate payment for the detailed ultrasound scan on my twentieth week), vitamins and post natal checkup. Its cheaper that way. Most of my friends here gave birth at KK but I just didn't like the way they treated me when I went there. I wasn't comfortable with the OB and the nurses were a bit strict. The people there seems to be in a hurry all the time. When I went for my checkup there I wasn't able to ask questions because the nurse was there showing me the way out already. So Raffles it is. I liked the OB, she's really nice and friendly. I could ask all sorts of questions without worrying about the time.

Here's our little bundle of joy...can you see his foot?Well my OB tried her best to get a good shot but this little fellow kept moving and moving so this is the best we've got. But what a pose, he seems to be doing sit ups (lol).I actually like this shot because I can somehow see his toes. I was able to see both his feet and hands though no picture...so tiny yet I can see.

Another shot here...as I've said he's not in the mood for photos. At least we got the hand(if you can see it)...
